IB Travel & Tour was born during a conversation with my BFF, over one of our multiple video chats we had during the COVID lockdown. We were marveling at the many adventures we “old ladies” had been on together and were thinking about how our other friends should come along with us on these adventures.

Founder Susan Henkel

Traveling is in my DNA. By the age of two, my parents were traveling the world with me. Since then, I have traveled the globe with family and friends alike; solo, or in groups large and small. Leading tours is my passion and helping others discover the joy of new places and experiences. Traveling like a local while on tour, allows travelers to step beyond the stereotypes and witness humanity as it is, not how marketing or news sites portray them.
